The short version: Dr. Stacey Gin modernized her Glendale, California practice in just 10 days in November 2016, at a cost of $150,000, integrating digital technology throughout the 4,000-square-foot facility to improve patient education and grow optical sales. Bill Gerber of OMG! Optical Marketing Group worked with her on the educational signage.
What was OMG!’s role?
OMG! developed educational signage and plaques that explain what the practice’s equipment does and share product information, including brand stories, so the technology itself becomes part of the patient’s education.
“We wanted to embrace technology and better serve our patients by improving their experience through education.”
— Dr. Stacey Gin
The numbers
Revenue before the renovation was $1.5 million, with projections of roughly $2 million within five years after the modernization.
