Optical Dispensing Tables and Furniture

An optical table provides a dedicated surface for displaying, organising, fitting, or discussing eyewear. Depending on its design, it may support frame merchandising, customer consultations, adjustment work, storage, or point-of-sale activity. The products in this category include dispensing tables, centre display tables, communal tables, and sales desks for optical retail environments.

Opticians commonly use adjustment tools, frame trays, measurement tools, and other eyewear-fitting accessories. The furniture shown here supports that work with features such as pencil drawers, storage drawers, frame trays, glass display windows, cable management, and comfortable adjustment depths. Specific clinical or diagnostic equipment is not represented in the supplied product information.

Optical dispensing is the process of helping a customer choose, fit, adjust, and receive eyewear based on a prescription and personal preferences. It combines product knowledge, frame presentation, measurements, fitting, and customer service. Well-planned dispensing furniture can support these steps while improving frame organisation, retail flow, and the overall optical experience.

The category includes sales counters and dispensing stations, sales desks, V-shaped double dispensing tables, centre island display tables, communal tables, and styling tables. Applications include optical retail sales, frame display and merchandising, eyewear adjustment, fitting, storage, organisation, and point-of-sale activity. Configurations and features vary by product.

Supplied products primarily use TFL laminate, with selected designs incorporating quartz or glass tops. Product information also identifies powder-coated steel bases or legs, stainless steel levelling legs, and custom or multiple laminate finish options. Available materials, finishes, and top treatments vary by model and should be confirmed for the chosen configuration.

Start with the intended activity, available floor area, customer flow, storage requirements, and desired merchandising approach. Consider whether the fixture will serve dispensing, adjustment, point-of-sale, centre-floor display, frame storage, or styling. Product options include compact desks, dual dispensing tables, display islands, communal tables, and counters with drawers or cable management.
